Professional Staff

Michael Spalding, PT, MS, CES

Michael is a founding member and director of Woodford Physical Therapy. He spent four years in the US Army. Mike served as a tank crew member in Desert Storm. Mike then graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky. He has also obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Mike specializes in orthopedic/sports injuries. He also specializes in Industrial Health and developed our WorkSmart industrial program. Mike is married to Kimberly has three children and enjoys golf and exercise. They reside in Lexington.

Kimberly Spalding, PT, MS

Kimberly graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science and Master's in Physical Therapy. Kim specializes in Total Joint Replacements, Disorders of the Foot/Ankle as well as General Orthopedics. Married to Michael, they live in Lexington with children Dylan, Nicholas, and Kennedy. She likes exercising, traveling, and spending time with family.

Kristy

Kristy is a PT tech here at our clinic and has been with us for the last 17 years. She was born and raised here in Woodford County where she still lives with her husband and their two girls. Kristy enjoys baking, going to antique shows and taking trips to the beach.

Lindsey

Lindsey is also another one of our PT techs in our clinic and has been with us for the last 16 years. Lindsey is a graduate of Woodford County and still resides here in Versailles with her girls, Trinity and Tinsley and will also be welcoming a baby boy at the beginning of the year. She loves to be with her kids, be by the pool and spend time with her puppy Tillie.

Pearl

Pearl is another one of our PT techs in the clinic and has been here for over 20 years. She is originally from Floyd County and graduated from the McDowell High School and she then went on to graduate from Midway College. Pearl has always had a passion for working in the medical field which she has done since graduating from college. In Pearls free time she enjoys going to antique shops, visiting the sick and grooming her yard.

Whitney

Whitney is the office manager here at Woodford PT and has been apart of our team for the last 19 years. She has lived in Versailles all her life and graduated from Woodford County High School. Whitney is married to her husband Ryan and they have two boys, Tanner and Camden. In her free time she enjoys being outside, watching UK Basketball and Football and she loves watching her boys play sports.

Hannah

Hannah is the receptionist here at WPT and has been with us since October 2020. She is originally from Pikeville, KY but moved to Versailles when she was 4 years old. Hannah is a dog mom to her German Shepherd, Trooper. Some of her favorite things to do in her free time are travel, eat, spend time with family and play blackjack.

John

John was born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL. Graduated from Asbury University with a bachelor's of science in exercise science/kinesiology. He was a member of the Men's soccer team & was the starting goalkeeper for 4 years. Currently lives in Wilmore with his fiancé, Devon. They are set to get married in November 2022. In his free time, John loves being outdoors, watching UK basketball & football, working out, and traveling. John and his fiancé have a 2-year-old Australian shepherd named Onyx & a 3-year-old thoroughbred named Ginger.
